What I have been doing lately

I have been working on the middle part for the Lancaster quilt, designed by Sue Daly.

I was so happy when I won a blue striped fabric, but I decided to use another which I had in one of my project boxes.

These four snowmwn are parts of the challenge Di is hosting.
In January and February we were going to knit / make things in wool.

I also knitted clothes for this little doll, but they were sent to the twin doll in Trondheim so I will have to make some new.

My last knitting project is this trousers for my grandchild.

When I count them I have eight wool projects for the challenge.

FNSI Friday Night Sew In

For the first time I have joined the FNSI challenge, and here is what I made.
I had made the stitcheries last months so I only had to put them together.

It is called "Bon Noel Wallhenging"
and it is from the book
"Tis the season" by Natalie Bird.

Broderidilla / Hooked on stitchery

Noe av fokuset mitt i januar var broderier til SALen, jeg tegnet opp, strøk på bakside og hadde minst et med overalt. Da gikk det fort unna.

One of my focuses in January has been stitching for the SAL. I drew the patterns on fabric, ironed on some lightweight iron-on interfacing and I brought at least one with me where ever I went. So they were quickly done.

Her er alle samlet, flesteparten i blått.
Here they are, most of them in blue.

Three different projects, waiting to be finished.

Can't wait to finish this purse, it is white so I guess I have to spray it with "anti dirt"
The red below is for a Christmas wallhanging.

I am still keeping the promise to myself no fabric buying yet, but use the stuff I have. I was in Trondheim last week-end and these threads and cutters are all I bought at Quiltegården.

But I really needed some blue for the "Lancaster" quilt
and I was so happy when I won these two at the meeting in my quilt guilt.

Grethe, a Quilt Lady, told us how she reduces the sizes of her quilts.
She was so clever and it was really nice to listen to her.

here are some of the members at the meeting. All busy sewing or knitting.
Here is Hanne, Hanne's Quilt Corner,  one of our members. Seated next to her is Unni.

Have a nice sewing week.
